Duties and Responsibilities
System Design and Development

- Develop detailed technical specifications and ensure the integration of new systems.
Programming and Control Systems
- Program PLCs and SCADA systems, and develop customized HMIs for automation processes.
- Optimize control systems for efficiency and reliability.
Installation and Commissioning
- Oversee the installation of automation equipment and ensure proper commissioning of systems.
- Lead testing and validation efforts to confirm system performance.
Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Conduct routine system maintenance to ensure smooth operation and minimize downtime.
- Lead troubleshooting efforts to diagnose and resolve complex system issues.
Collaboration and Communication
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including operations, maintenance, and management.
- Train operators and other staff on system use and functionality.
Safety and Compliance
- Ensure all systems comply with safety regulations and industry standards.
- Conduct risk assessments and implement safety protocols.
Documentation and Reporting
- Maintain detailed documentation of system designs, changes, and maintenance activities.
- Prepare comprehensive performance and project reports for stakeholders.
Qualification
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or Automation Engineering.
Work Experience
- Years of Experience: 5 to 10 years in industrial automation or related fields.
- Progressive Responsibility: Proven track record of career advancement from junior to senior engineering roles.
Technical Skills
- Advanced Programming: Expertise in PLCs, SCADA, HMIs, and scripting languages such as VB and C++.
- Control Systems Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of control systems, industrial automation, and communication protocols.
Soft Skills
- Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to address complex automation challenges.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for technical and non-technical audiences.
- Collaboration: Ability to work effectively across multiple teams and departments.
Salary
- £45,000 to £50,000 (Per Annum).

Maintenance and Troubleshooting
- Participate in routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
- Learn to identify and solve system issues under guidance.
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, providing assistance where needed.
- Communicate effectively with senior engineers and operators.
Safety and Compliance
- Follow safety standards and assist in conducting risk assessments.
- Learn about industry regulations and compliance requirements.
Documentation and Reporting
- Help maintain project documentation and contribute to performance reports.

Qualification
